Carnival Cruise Line is still working to resume operations on the cruise ships that were stranded in the Caribbean due to Hurricane Irma. The company has been able to provide passengers with a limited number of cruises and tours, but more than half of their fleet remains out of service.

The carnival cruise line breaking news is a story about 13 Carnival Cruise Ships that are still waiting to resume operations.

Carnival has been gradually resuming operations since the Carnival Vista sailed in July of this year. Since then, the cruise company has been constantly launching new ships. The Miami-based cruise company has eleven cruise ships operating as of September 19, sailing from no less than six distinct homeports.

The cruise company will be pleased with how things have gone so far with the resumption of operations. That doesn’t imply they’re finished, however. There are thirteen more ships set to resume service, although it’s worth noting that Carnival Miracle has already started service from Seattle and will begin sailings from Long Beach on September 27. Carnival Pride has already begun from Baltimore, but it will also continue on November 14 from Tampa.

Read on if you’re curious about where their favorite ship is and when it will resume operations.

From Miami, Carnival Freedom departs.

The final of the Conquest-class ships will be the first to begin operations. Carnival Freedom is a Carnival Cruise Line ship that was launched in the Mediterranean in 2007. However, she will not be sailing from Europe this time; instead, she will begin operations from PortMiami, the world’s cruise center, on October 9.

Carnival Freedom’s maiden voyage will depart Miami on October 9, 2021, on a 6-day itinerary to the Eastern Caribbean, with stops in St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. The ship will also provide 8-day trips to the southern Caribbean, including stops at Aruba, Curaçao, La Romana, and Amber Cove.

Port Canaveral’s Carnival Elation

The Carnival Elation, which was constructed in 1998, will be one of the ships based at Port Canaveral, which will serve as a fantastic base of operations for her excursions to the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean. Elation’s operations will begin on October 11, 2021.

Her maiden cruise after resuming service will be a voyage with plenty of time at sea for passengers to take advantage of all the ship has to offer. Starting in Port Canaveral, the ship will stop at Nassau for a day at sea before heading to Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic. It’s time to return to port after another day at sea. For the foreseeable future, the ship will alternate Eastern Caribbean and Bahamas trips.

New Orleans’ Carnival Valor

The Carnival Valor is one of the ships that has already got the gleaming new livery that is being rolled out throughout the whole Carnival fleet. She recently got out of dry dock in early September and will begin service on November 1, 2021, departing New Orleans.

The first cruise back in operation will sail from the Erato Street Terminal to Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico, with a day at sea on each end. Onboard Carnival Valor, there are also 4-5- and 6-day cruises that sail the Western Caribbean, with ports of call including Belize and Costa Maya on certain voyages.

Baltimore’s Carnival Legend

Another Carnival ship that has previously undergone a makeover. From November 14, 2021, guests in Baltimore may look forward to sailing aboard Carnival Legend. Carnival Legend will have taken over the schedule that Carnival Pride is presently sailing on by this time.

The 88,500 gross ton ship will travel to Bermuda, where passengers will be able to spend three days in The Dockyard (Sandy’s Parish). The majority of Carnival Legend’s voyages, on the other hand, will go to the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean. This covers cruises lasting six, seven, eight, or fourteen days.

From Miami comes the Carnival Conquest.

Since 2002, the 110,000 gross ton Carnival Conquest has been sailing the seven seas as the top in class. Since then, she has undergone many renovations and improvements, which passengers will be able to experience beginning December 13, 2021. The ship was supposed to go into service on October 8, but the cruise company opted to postpone it slightly.

Carnival Conquest will travel from PortMiami to Cozumel and Key West on her maiden trip back in operation. This year and next year, guests may select from a range of 3- and 4-day cruises to the Bahamas, the Eastern Caribbean, and the Western Caribbean.

Long Beach’s Carnival Radiance

Carnival Radiance would be a strong candidate for second place in that race if Mardi Gras was the most anticipated cruise ship for 2021. Since the cruise company initially announced the change in October 2018, the cruise ship previously known as Carnival Victory has undergone a major makeover.

Beginning December 13, 2021, when she sails on her first trip from Long Beach, California, the first passengers will be able to witness all that has been done on board. The four-day trip will include stops at Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico, as well as a day at sea. Another option is a 3-day trip that includes a stop at Ensenada and a day at sea.

Mobile’s Carnival Sensation

The Carnival Sensation is the second-oldest ship in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet, having joined in 1993. Her size, at 70,367 gross tonnage and 2,052 guests in double occupancy, doesn’t mean she’s not a blast to be aboard. Carnival Sensation will be homeported in Mobile, Alabama, beginning January 3, 2022.

When she departs shortly after New Year’s Eve festivities, guests will be able to enjoy a five-day Western Caribbean cruise that includes stops in Cozumel and Progreso. Other Carnival Sensation voyages include a range of 4-5- and 6-day Western Caribbean itineraries, as well as lengthier 10-day cruises in late 2022.

From Port Canaveral, take the Carnival Liberty.

The Carnival Liberty was the first ship in the Carnival fleet to undergo a $900 million makeover as part of the Fun Ship 2.0 program in 2011.

The 2005-built cruise ship will resume voyages in the new year when she sets sail from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas on January 3, 2022. On certain voyages, the ship will alternate 3- and 4-day Bahamas itineraries with stops in Nassau, Princess Cays, and Freeport.

Charleston’s Carnival Sunshine

Carnival Sunshine, the first Carnival Cruise Line ship to depart from Charleston, North Carolina, will set sail for the Bahamas on January 13th. For passengers seeking for a longer trip aboard a Carnival ship in the new year, the Carnival Sunshine seems to be a great choice.

On January 17, the ship embarks on a 10-day Eastern Caribbean cruise, stopping at St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Kitts, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

From Tampa, take the Carnival Paradise cruise.

Tampa Bay has been one of Florida’s few ports that hasn’t experienced a lot of cruise traffic yet, but that is about to change. Carnival Pride will be the first ship to arrive after repositioning from Baltimore, followed by Carnival Paradise on January 6 from Tampa Bay.

The inaugural cruise will take the Paradise to Cozumel for a four-day trip. 5-day cruises to Mahogany Bay and Cozumel are among the other options. Carnival Paradise is also one of the few ships that includes the Cayman Islands on her January 10 cruise itinerary.

Jacksonville’s Carnival Ecstasy

Beginning January 2, 2022, Jacksonville, Florida will have its own Carnival Cruise ship. The ship will cruise solely to the Bahamas for four and five days of sun and pleasure. The Fantasy class ship is the oldest and one of the smallest in the Carnival fleet, but it doesn’t stop passengers from having a good time. In fact, smaller is sometimes preferable.

The Fantasy-class ship includes eleven passenger decks, including Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, the Punchliner comedy club, and a waterpark, among other 2.0 attractions. On June 2, 1991, the Carnival Ecstacy set sail for the first time.

Carnival Splendor & Carnival Spirit

For the time being, there isn’t much positive news from Australia. Cruise ship activities are still prohibited in Australia. Carnival has canceled four more sailings from Australia on the Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor. Up to and including December 16, 2021, cruises on both ships have been canceled. At this moment, it is unknown when both ships will return.
