The country music king has added a new venue to his growing empire. The 10,000 square foot building will serve as an entertainment complex for local artists and musicians.
The “shows in vegas may 2021” is a country music venue that opened on the Las Vegas Strip. The venue features two levels, a lounge and a dance floor.
Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties announced this week that the singer’s fast-growing entertainment and eating brand Ole Red would be coming to Las Vegas.
In 2023, the new Las Vegas Strip complex will open in front of Bally’s at the Grand Bazaar Shops. The four-story, 27,000-square-foot arena, which will cost $30 million, will include a 4,500-square-foot rooftop and 686 seats.
What’s Hot Right Now
The facility will include a primary dining floor and two additional guest levels, all of which will gaze out over a central stage with cutting-edge video, acoustics, and lighting. Travelers will be able to experience “concert-quality” live music from both up-and-coming and renowned performers, as well as a Shelton-inspired menu of cuisine and specialty beverages that are “laced with southern hospitality” and unique to Sin City.
Ole Red, which is named after the artist’s 2001 single, already has locations in Orlando, Nashville, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, as well as Tishomingo, Oklahoma, with another slated to open within Nashville International Airport in 2022.
Ryman’s chairman and chief executive officer Colin Reed told Billboard, “This is certainly the nicest piece of undeveloped real estate in Las Vegas, it lies just across from the Bellagio fountains.”
“With over 40 million visitors a year, Las Vegas is one of the most significant leisure playgrounds on the globe,” he noted in a statement accompanying Wednesday’s news. “Because several of its top feeder areas have large numbers of country lifestyle customers, Las Vegas is a great match as we push this brand into tourist and convention-focused locations. We’re ecstatic to be able to open a flagship Ole Red site on such a sought-after piece of commercial real estate inside the Caesars Entertainment complex, where over 100,000 people pass by every day.”

Shelton told Billboard, “I’ve been travelling to Las Vegas for 20 years now working and I’ve never felt like there was enough of a country music presence.”
“I understand what it’s like to be a young musician performing in pubs and tiny venues with no idea what to expect. I’m delighted that we’re establishing a network of venues where musicians can get the type of live exposure that is so important for increasing their fan base “He followed up with a statement of his own. “It’s a dream come true to have these places for musicians to perform in various regions of the nation.”
