Many people make it a practice to spend the holidays aboard. While many people would prefer to spend the final week of December at home, there is a lot to be said about relaxing on board a Carnival cruise ship while being treated by an outstanding staff.
Food is, without a doubt, one of the most important aspects of the Christmas season. It wouldn’t be a Christmas dinner if the food wasn’t delicious. The menu for this year was revealed by Carnival’s Brand Ambassador, and it looks fantastic!
Dinner aboard a Carnival Cruise Ship for Christmas
If you’ve never been on a cruise before, a cruise around the holidays may be one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences. And a large part of it will have to do with the cuisine offered on board. Guests aboard have the opportunity to enjoy the supper of a lifetime, prepared to perfection, without the burden of being in the kitchen all day preparing and working hard.

This year’s cold appetizers feature classics like shrimp cocktail and delectable steak tartare. Crab and shrimp cake or crispy pig belly are two hot appetizers that will get everyone in the mood for the main dishes, which will definitely be difficult to choose.
Naturally, the slow-roasted Tom Turkey with sweet potato, Christmas stuffing, gravy, and cranberry relish will be a popular option. Guests may also order grilled fish, garlic shrimp, or a New York Strip Steak, as well as portobello mushrooms for vegetarians. Guests may also choose a broiled lobster, lobster and filet mignon, or grilled double-cut lamb chops for an additional fee.

Dessert selections include a melting chocolate cake, cheesecake, and Pecan pie, among others, for those who haven’t gotten their fill yet.
Overall, it seems like Carnival is working hard to make this Christmas an unforgettable experience. While the cuisine is exciting, there is so much more to see and do aboard.
What will the Christmas celebrations entail?
The public rooms aboard will be decked with gigantic Christmas trees, wreaths, mistletoe, lights, and a mailbox for the youngsters to submit their Christmas wishes to Santa Claus this year, as they are every year. That isn’t all, however. Aboard all of Carnival’s ships, the ship’s personnel will do all possible to make your stay onboard as enjoyable as possible.

Christmas Bingo, a Duck Hunt, and trivia are among the other attractions. The line’s Christmas performance, however, will almost certainly be the highlight of each voyage. It will include an immense simulated fireplace, soft seats and blankets, a Christmas tree, and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus, as well as a lot of singing and dancing.
You may still join in the festive fun even if you aren’t sailing aboard. Carnival Cruise Line began Operation Happy Holidays at the beginning of November. Guests are encouraged to send Christmas cards to the more than 25,000 crew members who work aboard Carnival’s ships, providing them with a sense of home while away from their family and friends.
