The Brazilian government said this week that the country’s border would be reopened to cruise ships before the end of the year. The local health authority, Anvisa, has approved the resumption of cruises.
It is unclear which protocols the MSC ships will be required to follow in Brazil; however, it is known that the boats will be required to comply with Anvisa standards, and that various states and cities may impose different restrictions on the vessels, as is usual in Brazil.
