The amended schedule for MSC Bellissima’s winter season, which begins November 6, has been released by MSC Cruises.
The ship will depart from Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah, on seven-night cruises to Economic City of King Abdullah (KAEC) and Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu, as well as Aqaba, Jordan.

Updates on the Route
Bellissima’s initial itinerary has been updated as follows:
- The port of Safaga in Egypt has been canceled since many of the passengers’ nations have Egypt categorized as a high-risk destination, requiring them to quarantine upon their return.
- The Bellissima will now stay at Yanbu for an overnight so that guests may explore AlUla, dubbed “The World’s Masterpiece.” It’s one of the Arabian Peninsula’s oldest towns, and it’s home to Hegra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- The holy city of Medina, known as “the Enlightened City” because of its crucial role in the prophet Muhammad’s life, has been added to the agenda, offering tourists the opportunity to take a sightseeing trip. Passengers may also spend a whole day at a beautiful beach from KAEC.
MSC Cruises has also unveiled the highlights of its shore excursion package for these cruises, in addition to the itinerary changes. These are some of them:
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Due to the ship’s late departure, passengers will be able to check in and board the ship in the morning, then head ashore in the afternoon. The City Of Culture & History trip will take you on a journey through ages and customs in Saudi Arabia’s second biggest city, which combines history and modernity. Guests may explore Al Balad’s old town and take in the city’s famous colorful artwork, oriental smells, and traditional architecture.

King Abdullah Economic City
The building of KAEC barely begun in 2005, but this contemporary metropolis is already proving to be a popular tourist destination. Because of its proximity to Medina, the holy Islamic city, this port is suitable for visiting the site. The Medina Sightseeing excursions provide a unique look into Medina’s pulse.
Passengers seeking for a relaxing day at the beach may visit either Pure Beach or Yam Beach.

Yanbu, Saudi Arabia
The ship will stay in port at Yanbu overnight and into the following day, giving tourists the chance to see one of Saudi Arabia’s highlights, Hegra, AlUla historic village, and the Elephant Rock. Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage site, is an ancient metropolis buried in the desert dunes and the Nabateans’ second most significant city. Passengers may take a guided tour to see some of the site’s monuments, which number in the hundreds.
Over the years, pilgrims, tourists, and permanent inhabitants have congregated in the historic city of AlUla, which is located in a desert environment in the Hijaz mountains. Surrounded by an ancient oasis, AlUla’s old town is dominated by a 10th-century fortress and has 900 brick buildings, 400 shops, and a network of lanes and squares.

Finally, Elephant Rock is made up of two monolithic boulders that stand out against the desert backdrop: the “trunk” and “body.” The weather has shaped them into the form of an elephant throughout the decades.
Because Yanbu is recognized as Saudi Arabia’s diving hub, MSC offers a Snorkeling at Iona Coral Reef tour. The submerged remains of the British ship Iona, as well as a kaleidoscope of fish and marine plants, are all available to visitors. Those looking to unwind may take the Baridi Island Getaway, which allows them to rest on the beach of a crystal-clear sea in a remote area of Baridi Island.
Those who wish to immerse themselves in the Arabian desert might do so in a desert tent beneath the stars. Passengers will learn about the camp’s residents and have fun participating in various camp activities.
Jordan’s Aqaba for Petra
A visit to the Wonders of Petra, an ancient city and UNESCO World Heritage site in the heart of the Jordanian desert, is a highlight of this program.
The city was found in 1812 after decades of hiding. It served as the capital of the Nabatean Arabs and boasted a complex water conduit system that transformed the city into an artificial oasis. It was hewn out of solid rock by Nabatean Arabs about 2,000 years ago.

The Wadi Rum region, which is full of undulating sand dunes in a valley, is a must-see for anybody interested in the Arabian Desert. Guests will have a chance to see all it has to offer by riding through it in a 4WD vehicle, then finishing the day with Arabic tea in a typical Bedouin tent.
Fly&Cruise is a program that allows you to fly and cruise at the same time.
MSC Cruises clients may book a Fly&Cruise package from a variety of international airports to Jeddah, thanks to a relationship with SAUDIA, Saudi Arabia’s official airline.
The seven-night cruises leave Jeddah at 11 p.m. every Saturday, and SAUDIA has changed its flight schedule to include Friday night flights from Milan, Rome, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, and Madrid, with Saturday morning arrivals in the city.
For Saturday am return flights, a comparable selection of well-timed flights is available.
