Carnival Cruise Line is best known for its globetrotting itineraries, which have taken travelers to exotic destinations. Recently, the company unveiled a new look at its newest ship—one that aims to be more eco-friendly than ever before. The Carnival Vista has gone through extensive renovations in order to better serve guests with an emphasis on luxury and innovation.

The newly transformed Carnival Cruise Ship, the “Carnival Sunrise Covid”, arrived in the U.S. on Thursday morning.

Carnival Radiance has landed in the United States as part of her trip to her new homeport in Long Beach, California, after months of being on hold and being changed in Spain.

In Miami, Florida, the Carnival Radiance arrives.

The freshly remodeled Carnival cruise ship eventually arrived on the morning of October 28 in the cruise capital of the world, PortMiami, after a lengthy wait. According to Cruise Hive, the ship had recently finished a transatlantic journey and spent some time off the shore at Freeport, Bahamas, for personnel exchanges between adjacent Carnival ships.

The ship was recorded by PTZtv in Miami, Florida, against a gorgeous pink dawn. While the ship is docked, it will receive supplies as well as maybe further crew member transfers. The Carnival Radiance won’t be there for long, as the seven-week tour, which began on October 18 in Cadiz, Spain, will continue.

The Carnival Radiance will shortly pass through the Panama Canal and dock at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal in California. On December 13, 2021, the ship will begin offering year-round three- and four-day Mexican Riviera trips.

The three-day schedule will include a stop in Mexico’s Ensenada, while the four-day itinerary will cover both Ensenada and Catalina Island. The ship joined Carnival Panorama and Carnival Miracle, which have both resumed service from the port.

The ship’s name was changed from Carnival Victory to Carnival Radiance after a significant $200 million renovation at the Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, Spain. The ship has been on hold for the most part, rotting away at the shipyard, but in recent months, the refurbishment has accelerated, with numerous new features and locations added.

The Carnival Radiance is the second ship in the line to have the Big Chicken eating venue, which was conceived by Carnival’s Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neal. The new Cucina del Capitano, the multi-purpose Liquid Lounge, and one of the most luxurious Cloud 9 Spas at sea are also available.

Carnival Victory was the ship’s original name when it first started operation in 2000, but it will soon be renamed Carnival Radiance, according to Carnival Cruise Line. The ship presently has a gross tonnage of 101,509, with a passenger capacity of 2,984 at double occupancy and 1,108 foreign crew members.
