The Norwegian Cruise Line is hosting a special event on the upcoming cruise, and they have invited a teenage entrepreneur to host it.
The norwegian cruise line news is a Norwegian Cruise Line event that will be hosted by a teen entrepreneur.
The virtual Giving Joy Awards will be hosted by Norwegian Cruise Line on Thursday, August 19.
16 year old entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Me & the Bees Lemonade Mikaila Ulmer will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the event.
The company restarted its Norwegian’s Giving Joy program, giving 100 teachers complimentary cruises, in recognition of educators’ commitment and perseverance over the previous 16 months. Thousands of nominations were received from kids, parents, and communities all across North America.
On July 12, 2021, the 100 winners from around the United States and Canada were revealed. Norwegian Cruise Line is also giving the top prize winner a $25,000 contribution to his or her school in addition to the free week-long cruise.
Second and third place winners will earn $15,000 and $10,000 for their institutions, respectively.

During the webcast celebration, Ulmer will have the pleasure of revealing the beneficiaries of the contributions as the host. The event is free and accessible to the public, and it will be broadcast live on NCLGivingJoyLivestreamEvent.com and Facebook.
“Mikaila’s relentless pursuit of information, curiosity, and entrepreneurial attitude led to her founding her own business before she was five,” stated Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We couldn’t think of a more deserving or inspirational individual to assist us in honoring our 100 outstanding educators and naming our three amazing Grand Prize winners.”
Ulmer was stung by two bees in the same week when she was four years old. Instead of being angry with her parents, they encouraged her to study bees, and she learned about the critical role bees play in the earth’s ecology and became motivated to assist them.
Ulmer started her company in 2009 from her home in Austin, Texas, using her Great Grandmother Helen’s flaxseed honey lemonade recipe.
Today, you can find the award-winning lemonade on the shelves of major stores all across the nation. Ulmer has also founded the Healthy Hive Foundation and published her first book, “Bee Fearless: Dream Like a Kid,” under her own name.

“As I get ready to start my senior year and apply to colleges, I realize how essential instructors are in kids’ lives,” Ulmer said. “It brings me great pleasure to assist in the recognition of teachers for all of the joy they provide to their pupils, schools, and communities, and I appreciate Norwegian Cruise Line for doing it in such a wonderful manner.”
