The Trump administration has announced that it will be implementing new restrictions on travelers who are not vaccinated against certain diseases, including measles.
The unvaccinated travel restrictions is a new policy that was just announced by the US government. This means that travelers who have not been vaccinated will be more closely monitored upon reentry into the United States.
When the United States implements its new system for foreign visitors in November, unvaccinated Americans will face tougher entry restrictions when they come home from abroad.
Under the new regulations, all adult foreign travelers will be allowed to enter the United States with evidence of complete vaccination and a negative COVID-19 test conducted no more than 72 hours before their flight, according to the White House.

With the exception of minors who are ineligible for COVID-19 vaccinations, foreign individuals who are not completely vaccinated will not be permitted to come to the United States at all, regardless of their place of origin.
A Department of State spokesman confirmed to Lonely Planet that the new entrance restrictions would apply to vaccinated returning US citizens and permanent residents.
While being unvaccinated will not prevent homebound Americans from returning to the United States, they will be subjected to more stringent testing than they are now. These people will be required to provide negative results from a COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of boarding their trip, rather than 72 hours, and proof that they have bought a viral test to take once they arrive in the United States.
If you haven’t got the vaccine, the country’s public health officials believe you shouldn’t travel overseas right now. “The CDC will continue to strongly advise against flying travel by U.S. citizens and [permanent residents] who are not fully vaccinated,” a State Department spokesman said.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated during Monday’s press conference that the US’ new approach would include extensive contact tracing operations. According to Psaki, the CDC “will compel airlines to gather complete contact information for every passenger arriving in the United States and to give that information immediately to the CDC, upon request,” so that the agency may track down individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19.
The CDC, on the other hand, has yet to release an official contact tracing order, as well as information on how the new policy would operate and when it will take effect.
The cdc says vaccinated can travel is a new policy that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has put into place. This policy will make it harder for unvaccinated travelers to enter the United States.
